The event was packed with approximately 400 people from 60 companies. XCION is a CIO network from Indonesia, Singapore, and Malaysia that was setup to bring together thought leaders to share and showcase their latest and greatest. MDEC was invited to attend the XCION 10th Conference in Marriot Bali from the 1st - 3rd of March 2023 as a supporting association. We at MDEC are committed to building a strong digital economy partnership between Malaysia and the Philippines! Looking ahead, MDEC will continue to work closely with the Malaysian Embassy and MATRADE and monitor existing opportunities to enhance the business support ecosystem in Manila, Philippines. And third, we unlocked potential access to Corporates and Local Government Units( LGUs) in the Philippines to address their problem statements and initiate potential business opportunities for Malaysian tech companies. Second, we emphasised potential areas of cooperation between MDEC and DTI, which include cross-border opportunities for tech companies, advancing the competitiveness of creative industries, enhancing e-commerce collaboration, and promoting Islamic Digital economy opportunities.
